The Year in Review

2008 was an extraordinary year for Canada’s mission in Afghanistan. The mission was transformed‚ with a specific focus on priority areas that reflect what Afghans need and care about; goals and objectives were established against which we can be held accountable; and Canada tripled the number of civilians deployed to Kabul and Kandahar.
